Downloads from iTunes lifted this album to No. 1 on the charts before its release. Why? German violinist Fischer, 25, is fresh and appealing — O.K., sexy — but also gifted. These performances with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields orchestra are fleet, spirited and elegant.
