Silent Light
In a Mennonite community in northern Mexico, a father (Cornelio Wall) surrenders to an adulterous love. In no way your typical, bustling Mexican melodrama, Carlos Reygadas' ravishing tone poem is earthy and ethereal, heading for a climax that is, literally, a miracle.
