The Game: As offensive coordinator for the New York Giants, he shrunk the game plan down to eight plays he thought would work against Baltimore's fierce defense. They didn't work well enough.
Post-Game: Became the greatest football coach of all time. In 1959, took over the Green Bay Packers, who had only won a single game the year before. A season later, the Packers were playing for an NFL title. Won five titles with Green Bay, including the first two Super Bowls. The NFL's Super Bowl trophy is named in his honor; he died in 1970, at 57.
