Toys

Families may be cutting back on Christmas gifts this year, but kids will still have presents under the tree. Places like JC Penney's and Toys R US are seeing lots of traffic as parents focus their shopping on children instead of adults. Star Wars gadgets like LEGO sets and lightsaber toys are selling well, while girls gravitate to High School Musical and Hannah Montana paraphernalia. The toys that topped everyone's wish list this season—like Elmo Live, Playskool's Kota the Triceratops and Furreal Friends Biscuit the Dog—are still readily available as prices start to drop. Another popular item: the Fisher Price Power Wheels Barbie Jeep, which Walmart is selling for more than $100 off.
