George Carlin, 1937-2008

'There are no bad words. Bad thoughts. Bad intentions. And woooords.'

In routines like his infamous "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television," Carlin showed that stand-up comedy could be more than just one-liners. His was pointed social commentary, exposing hypocrisy and challenging conventional wisdom.
