The Batmobile

It's hard to describe the Batmobile when the car has had so many incarnations. The late-60s television show used a Ford concept car called the Lincoln Futura, with fins and clear plastic pod seats for its passengers. Later versions had all sorts of gadgets: jet engines, crazy lights, hubcap spikes, and an accompanying motorcycle. One animated series featured a flying version; The Dark Knight's Batmobile was more like a tank. But really, it doesn't matter what the Batmobile looks like: it will always be the ultimate superhero accessory.
