Danish Embassy in Pakistan

After newspapers in Denmark published controversial cartoons of the Muslim Prophet Mohammed for a second time — including one that showed a bomb in his turban — al-Qaeda retaliated, exploding a car bomb in front of the Danish embassy. The powerful explosion killed six and left a massive crater in front of the embassy gates, shattering windows in the surrounding neighborhood.
