Maryland

Although it opened in 1992, Camden Yards — which many baseball fans consider the most beautiful park in America — is decidedly unmodern. The home of the Baltimore Orioles takes its design cues from the stadiums of the early 20th century. The brick exterior is wonderfully retro, and the stadium's designers opted to incorporate the old adjacent B&O Warehouse (built in 1905) into the right field wall. Camden has a classic charm that makes seeing a big-league game all the more special. If only the team that played within its walls were as good.
333 W. Camden St., Baltimore; 888-848-2473; tickets: $8–$80.
