There seems to be a culinary counterculture forming that is united by its detestation of fast food, agribusiness and King Corn. This may be the year that it forms a critical mass. Culinary progressivism is coalescing around key issues. The big four seem to be poverty, obesity (not so far apart, it seems), the industrial-government complex and fast food, which progressives hate most of all. The movement's HQ?
