The billionaire hotelier's nickname, the Queen of Mean, even followed her into the afterlife. When Leona Helmsley died in 2007, she left more to her dog than to her grandchildren. Her beloved white Maltese terrier, named Trouble, received $12 million in her will while two of her grandchildren received absolutely nothing. Helmsley's other two grandchildren received $10 million each, provided that they visit the grave of their father, Jay Panzirer, at least once a year. After the disgraced grandchildren took the issue to court, a judge determined Helmsley was mentally unfit while drafting the will and redistributed the funds. Each grandchild received $6 million from the estate while Trouble's fortune dwindled to a not-so-paltry $2 million. The dog went on to live a lavish life in a Florida hotel until his death in December 2010 at the age of 12.
