Oy. I figured she'd do something arty and hippiesque, and that's okay. But the gargantuan pirate earring? Not nearly as memorable as the hamburger phone. And that collar thing that looks like crossed scimitars. Would've like to have seen the whole dress, but my grade has nothing to do with dress. She's a great writer, which is all that matters.
Hollywood's latest phenom with her trademarked look: punked out Betty Boop. Chances are, she is the first Oscar nominee to wear both an animal print dress and a tattoo as large as an evening purse plus oversized skull and bones jewelry. Crisp make-up highlighting her peaches-and-cream appeal. Congratulations for not conforming (much) to Academy convention. A glammed-up version of her real self.
