If the '80s did not exist, Danny Noriega would have had to invent them. (An entire decade full of weirdly androgynous male singershow did he choose?) You could ask why a totally reworked arrangement of a Soft Cell song that was itself a '60s original counts as an '80s song. But the fact is, this is the first week that Danny sounds actually good, as opposed to so-amusing-I-wish-he-were-good.
