Stephanie Thomas and Marianne Cassells help Mary Jones to board an evacuation bus at the Island Community Center in Galveston, Texas. In anticipation of Hurricane Rita, the Galveston evacuees were sent to Huntsville, Texas, about 140 miles north of the island
