Prime Minister Taksin of Thailand has asked the population of his country to make paper birds as a sign of solidarity and peace in an attempt to stop violence in Thailand's Muslim south. Over 100 million paper birds were dropped by aircrafts on the birthday of the King of Thailand. Violence in the southern provinces has caused more than 600 deaths since the beginning of 2004
