Fans Gather to Pay Tribute to Joe Paterno

Remembering
After hearing of Paterno's death Sunday morning, people began gathering at his statue just outside Beaver Stadium in State College, Pennsylvania, Sunday, January 22, 2012. It was a far more somber gathering than the angry crowd that filled the streets after Paterno was fired in November 2011 amid the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal, rioting and overturning a news truck.
