Fans Gather to Pay Tribute to Joe Paterno

Paterno, the most successful coach in Division I college football history, was widely loved on campus, despite his ouster following allegations of child sex abuse against his longtime defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky. At his statue outside of Beaver Stadium, fans left candles, flowers and mementos on January 22, 2012 in State College, Pennsylvania.
