Changing up an icon is a delicate task but BMW plans to offer an active hybrid system in its popular 3 series sedan, combining a V6 engine and an electric drive to produce a high performance car with 335 horsepower that also gets 37 miles per gallon. The car will also feature an intelligent navigation system, which calculates the best route for reaching your next destination using only electric power.
