Guy Fawkes: April 13, 1570 – Jan. 31, 1606
Guy Fawkes was born in 1570 in Stonegate, York, in England. He became an Elizabethan nobleman, adventurer and politician and was best known for the infamous Gunpowder Plot, a scheme intended to overthrow the British government and assassinate the then monarch King James by blowing up the houses of Parliament.
