River Boat
The boat which sank, called the Bulgaria, is a Soviet-era pleasure boat, built in 1955. It has two decks and a ballroom. It set out on July 10 to cruise a branch of the Volga River that is dammed and forms a large lake. This file photo of the vessel was taken in 2010.
