Summer camps organized by the pro-Kremlin youth movement Nashi have been held in Central Russia since 2005. This year, the gathering has been christened "Seliger 2011", the name drawn from the lake where the camp is held. Though the announcement for this year's session stresses ideas and innovation instead of politics, the campgrounds are nevertheless marked with powerful pro-government imagery. Here, a portrait of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin hangs beside the camp's stage, July 4, 2011.
