Friends for Life
Jim Henson poses in 1961 with Harry, Sam, Yorick and Kermit from Sam and Friends, a television series he created with his future wife Jane, while they were attending college at the University of Maryland, College Park. The characters developed for this series were forerunners of the Muppets, and included a prototype of Henson's most famous character, Kermit the Frog.
