Ruby Olive Leaf Tiara (Greece)
Queen Anne-Marie of Greece's stunning tiara has a complicated history that remains fuzzy. Passionate sleuths have traced the tiara back to Queen Olga of Greece, who was originally born into the Russian royal family. She bequeathed it to Queen Frederike, a Prussian who married into the Greek royal family, and she left it to Anne-Marie. The tiara channels nature with its olive wreaths, designed with ruby fruits. But this isn't just a tiara — it's an entire set of matching jewelry (or, as royalists would say, a "parure"). It's unclear whether the pendant earrings, necklace and brooches were all part of the original parure or if some were added later. In either case, the piece is a lovely family heirloom.
