"Hong Kong, a day in the life ..."

A night with Melvis: Kwok Lam Lau, known to his fans as "Melvis," is a Hong Kong institution. With his sequined suit, studded collar, stick-on sideburns and Vegas sunglasses, Kwok has been belting out Elvis favorites to tourists and suited workers for the past eight years. When he's not performing, the King is practising for up to four hours a day in his one-bedroom apartment where he lives with his wife and two children.
