Like a disproportionate number of the people in the community, George suffers from diabetes. "I'm pretty careful what I do. Make sure I don't get any scratches and cuts or anything like that and get infected. It's pretty rough because I'm used to working with my hands and doing a lot of heavy work but it seems like I can't do that no more. It's kinda hard to make a living if you have to stay away from something that you're used to doing all the time. I'm used to working all the time and I can't work like I used to. It makes it hard."
