Cecil Stoughton, White House / JFK Library

Presidential Family at Play
John-John and Caroline stop by to visit their father John F. Kennedy in the Oval Office in October 1962. Photographer Cecil Stoughton heard the President clapping and singing, "Hey, here's John-John!," so he entered the room and, in three minutes, snapped 12 frames of the children dancing, with their father cheering them on. They became some of Stoughton's most famous images of the young President.
