New Hybrid Cars for 2011

The next vehicle in Toyota's family of hybrids, the Lexus CT200, will come equipped with Toyota's Prius drive system, and early reviews indicate it has been equipped with a bigger gasoline engine to give it more power. The CT200 is heavily influenced by contemporary European designs and will be available solely in a hatchback version. Because no gasoline-only version of the car is planned, anyone wanting a Lexus hatchback will have to order the hybrid power train. Toyota hasn't released the price yet, but the vehicle is expected to arrive in the mid-to-high-$30,000s range.
