The Leadership Applauds
On Oct. 10, 2010, North Korea marked the anniversary of the founding of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea with a giant military parade. For this year's celebration, the 65th anniversary, the leadership drew special attention to Kim Jong Il's son Kim Jong Un, far left, who North Korea watchers suggest will take over for his father, center, upon the elder Kim's death. This photograph shows the two Kims and other officials at an evening gala titled "Do Prosper, Era of Workers' Party."
