On Oct. 6, the Supreme Court will begin hearing arguments in docket 09-751, wherein the Westboro Baptist Church, led by Fred Phelps, above right, was sued by the family of a Marine slain in Iraq, whose funeral Phelps and his congregation picketed in 2006, bearing signs that said, "You're Going to Hell" and "God Hates Fags" among other hateful statements.
