In 1958, the Swedish hosts made it all the way to the World Cup finals against Brazil. Unfortunately for the Swedes, the Brazilian team featured soccer great Pelé, above right. The 17-year-old scored two goals en route to a 5-2 Brazilian victory over the host nation.
