The Odds
Typical of the new breed of player is Barry Greenstein, a computer scientist who has won a number of events, including three World Series of Poker titles and two on the World Poker Tour. He is pictured here at a table at the Rio All-Suites Resort and Hotel in Las Vegas, where the first round of the 2010 World Series Main Event will be held. The tournament is expected to draw 6,500 players from around the world, competing at 378 tables.
