Bugatti experimented with aerodynamics, an essential element of contemporary auto design, and also with lightweight metals. The company produced elegant, expensive cars that combined sportiness and sleek styling. To this day, they remain among the most beautiful cars in existence. Sadly, only 40 of them were built before World War II halted production.
