Many of the issues that have split Iraq since the fall of Saddam Hussein remain unresolved. The current batch of politicians have still not solved matters like the sharing of oil revenue or the balance of power between Iraq's regions and its central government. Nor have they been able to settle the many differences between the country's various religious and ethnic groups.
