Lindsey Vonn of the USA races in the downhill portion of the Women's Super Combined, an event where participants perform both a downhill and a slalom run. Although she scored the best time amongst all participants in the downhill portion, one of her skis clipped a slalom pole during her slalom run, forcing her to crash out of medal contention.
