Jimmy Cliff
A Jamaican reggae singer, musician and actor, Cliff is best known for his appearance in the film The Harder They Come, which upon its release in 1972 helped popularize reggae music around the world. The sound track for the movie, about a young man who tries to make it in the recording business but falls into a life of crime, includes several of the singer's most famous songs, like "You Can Get It If You Really Want" and "Many Rivers to Cross."
