Just because they're famous doesn't mean that celebrities don't want a little horse action. For decades, the Derby has hosted its share of movie stars, sports personalities, presidents, and royalty. In this 1961 shot, Prince Ranier of Monaco (right) watches the pre-race parade of horses. The tradition continues to this day — Queen Elizabeth II attended the race in 2007.
