Barbie Turns 50

For God and Country
Barbie's first job in the military came in 1989, and she has made numerous appearances in uniform since then. In order to giver her 1992 camouflage outfit, above, a touch of authenticity, Mattel had it gain approval from the Pentagon. It was issued shortly after the First Gulf War.
