The Witching Hour
"La Befana," an ugly, broomstick wielding witch parades through the streets of Urbania in Italy bringing gifts to the children during the festival of Epiphany. A popular belief is that her name derives from this festival, but there's evidence to suggest that she descended from the Sabine/Roman goddess named Strina.
