China's Sichuan Quake: Six Months Later

Luo Xiqun, a 22-year-old migrant from Fujian province, stands in front of her family grocery store at the Ren Jiaping temporary settlement. Luo runs the store single-handedly, while her fiance, a local Sichuan farmer, looks for construction work at rebuilding sites. The money the couple saved for their wedding was buried in their collapsed house in Tangjiashan village, across the mountain from Beichuan.
