The World of Custom Big Rigs Photographer Roger Snider travels the globe in search of the most tricked-out trucks on the planet

While many of the elaborate show trucks do indeed haul loads, they are pampered and polished in a way that emphasizes their unique customized qualities. Many truckers with nice rigs, however, pride themselves on the long, hard miles they put on their vehicles. Photographer Snider was thus hired by Large Car Magazine to photograph this 2006 Peterbilt 379x during its regular route between Riverside, California and Salt Lake City. The driver, Andy Campbell, has acquired a rep in the truckers' world because he drives such a fine cab, but never displays it at the many US truck shows.
