Iran launches a rocket with worms, turtles, and rats into space

On Feb. 3, Iran announced that it had successfully launched its first space rocket, the Kavoshgar 3. On board: a mouse, two turtles and some worms. The first Iranian astronauts reportedly returned to Earth safely, although that news was small comfort to Western agencies, who worry the rocket technology could help Tehran develop nuclear warheads.
