Yves Saint Laurent's Final Bow

A model wears an African inspired dress from 1967 embroidered with wooden beads, pearls and sequins of turquoise, pink and black. Saint Laurent created this particular outfit in New York but it was possibly inspired by his place of birth. He was born in the Algerian city of Oran when the North African country was still a French colony.
