Habitat
The Maringa River is one of the many tributaries of the mighty Congo River, part of the Bonobo Peace Forest, a planned network of community-based reserves initiated by BCI. Managed by local and indigenous groups, the Peace Forest would encompass 20,000 square miles of the Bonobo range.
