After rising to the very height of fame and celebrity then crashing hard in its glare, Mike Tyson has spent the last few years re-focusing his energies. In a USA Today interview, he said, "My whole life has been a waste — I've been a failure...I want to get this part of my life over as soon as possible... People put me so high; I want to tear that image down." The former champion now lives on the lighter side, spending much of his time tending to his hundreds of pigeons in Paradise Valley near Phoenix, Arizona.
