On the subject of his new fame, Parsons told Cindy Adams of the New York Post, "People are starting to recognize me. I'm not mobbed like Brad Pitt, but you sometimes see them staring on the street. And they ask about the geek thing. Like, 'Are you as smart as Sheldon?' No! Nor has my lifestyle changed any. I'm still socially in the same middle of the road as before."
