TFA has received the support of numerous public figures and celebrities. In this 2008 photo, President Bush's daughter Jenna Bush, a teacher herself, and First Lady Laura Bush visit with first grade students at Martin Luther King Elementary School in Washington. The visit marked the tenth anniversary of Teach for America Week.
