In the 1980s, Bridges' star continued to rise. He received two more Oscar nominations and starred in a number of major Hollywood releases, one of the most enduring of which was TRON, a 1982 live-action, computer-animated cult classic in which he plays a hacker (below, left) who is transported into a computer system.
