In 2006, he joined Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon in The Departed, Martin Scorcese's adaptation of the classic Hong Kong crime-thriller Infernal Affairs. The hit film would go on to win four Oscars, including one for best picture, at the 79th Academy awards.
