After TD's full-scale debut here in Week 8, L.I. Slim has emerged as the swami of the moment, posting an impressive 9-2 mark with one to play. Kansas City comes in at 6-5, better than Paul Maguire but good only for second place in this space. Both have the Colts tonight, so the weekend's excitement is over, and that includes tonight's game. Lesson of the week: The Niners, floating atop the NFC West, may be getting bored. And there just isn't an apple small enough not to get stuck in Denver's throat. The AFC is looking like losers again in January.
