Stormy Week for Stocks

Expect some stormy weather on the stock exchange. After a week in which Dow Jones blue chip stocks rose above the 8,000 level for the first time since August, Money Daily reports that investors are likely to be more cautious. As third-quarter earnings continue to be released, there have been some dire warnings from market movers such as Coca-Cola and Gillette. Watch for slightly better earnings information Monday from Motorola; analysts are estimating a profit of 53 cents per share.
