Clinton Trial Date Set

LITTLE ROCK, Ark: An Arkansas judge dismissed Paula Jones' defamation and due process complaints against President Clinton but Bill may want to save the champagne for another day. TIME's Viveca Novak reports that "Although Clinton probably likes the fact these charges have been thrown out, the decision really isn't that significant because the core complaint of sexual harassment still remains." If anything, the decision puts Clinton in even more of a pickle since the judge scheduled a trial date and refused to limit discovery both major blows to his defense. So when will Bubba have his day in court? Barring any settlement, May 27 of next year.
